Happy New Year!

Happy New Year 2017!

Remember the past is the past.  The only thing we can do is move forward toward the ultimate prize…

“Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 3:13-14

And as you walk through the new year…

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:9

Enjoy the adventure God has laid ahead of you.

Be a light in the world!

Merry Christmas!!!

It’s the day we celebrate our Savior’s birth, and I just thought I’d share with you this beautiful song by the talented Lauren Daigle.  It’s a great song for Christmas day.  It speaks volumes… literally!

“I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” -Jesus (John 8:12)

Have a very Merry Christmas!  🙂

Light of the World by Lauren Daigle

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” -James 1:17

I Will Give Thanks To The Lord

Today in the United States we celebrate our Thanksgiving Day.

There’s a lot to be thankful for even if you feel the world is collapsing all around you.

So on this Thanksgiving Day, I’m going to share with you some Bible passages about giving thanks.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”” -Philippians 4:6-7

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” -1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.” -1 Timothy 4:4-5

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” -1 Chronicles 16:34

“I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.” -Psalm 7:17

Now go and think about what you’re thankful for.  Feel free to share what you’re thankful for in the comments below.

Not only am I thankfully for Jesus, who died for my sins, but for my family, my friends, and, of course… all of YOU!

Submit Yourself To God

Happy New Year!

I can’t believe it’s the year 2016.  Whoa!  Where does the time go?  Sounds like we’re in the future or something.  ha

Anywho, if you haven’t already, start the year off right!

“Submit yourselves, then to God.  Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Come near to God and he will come near to you.” -James 4:7-8

Yes!  Submit yourself to God.  Ask God to make your crooked paths straight.  Come near to God and he will come near to you.  Resist the Devil and he will flee.

As you go through this year, and life, call upon almighty God for strength.  Live His will and you’ll have peace, no matter what trials you go through.

Keep spreading the Word!

Merry Christmas and The Greatest Gift of All

I’d like to wish you a very Merry (Christ)mas!

There’s only one gift that truly matters which we received on Christmas, and it’s not material.

Our greatest gift is Jesus, who God sent not to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:17)

And, remember that everything you have is a gift from above…

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” -James 1:17

Merry Christmas and have a Happy Christ Filled New Year!  (Lots coming here in 2016)
